* Yes, pastured eggs in November! Our chickens get to stay on rotating pasture with shelters until the water stays frozen. Then, from the sheltered ~greenhouse room in the barn (with water heaters), our chickens have access to a spacious pasture via a door, which they use nearly every day. Even with unlimited super-fortified grain mix available, they will dig through snow to get grass still connected to the roots, which is nutritionally far superior to any cut forage. They also eat some snow and ice, as a very purified source of supplemental water. It is amazing to watch. Schedule a visit!
